The Green Box Recycling Site is open on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
1 mile west of Switzke Road on Ranch Road
NO DUMPING DURING CLOSED HOURS! VIOLATORS WILL BE FINED!
REMEMBER, THESE ITEMS ARE BANNED FROM LANDFILLS
FEES FOR GREEN BOX: $5.00 – 3 Bags or 1 Barrel
(If you have more you will be charged more by operator)
- Couch, oversized chair and all major appliances such as, stove/oven, water heater, washer, dryer, dishwasher, water softener, water heater, humidifier, microwave – $15.00
- Mattress, bedspring, carpeting (carpet can be donated to Y’s Way in Watertown) – $15.00
- All televisions and computer monitors – $35.00
- All refrigeration units such as, freezer, refrigerator, air conditioner, dehumidifier – $25.00
- Automobile tires with rims off – $8.00 per tire
- Electronic item such as, computers (desktop, laptop or tablet), keyboards, scanners, speakers, printers, DVD/VCR players, fax machines or other items that plug into a computer – $3.00 per device
Town residents using the Green Box site should have recyclable items clean and separated from trash before arrival.
